5 Feel-Good Movies on Netflix

You’ve probably watched Frozen at least 42 times by now, can perfectly belt out the songs alongside Idina Mendzel, and are waiting for your Grammy to show up in the mail. You’ve also probably forgotten what else Netflix has to offer. Luckily, we’ve got you covered and have compiled a short must-watch-feel-good list of movies currently on Netflix that don’t have a song about how cool you’d be in summer, but will lift you up from the “Let It Go” barrens.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

A PG-13 80’s classic! High Schooler, Ferris Bueller, is determined to take a day off from the brutal life of High School. He baits his parents and they take, however the school principal and his sister smell something funky. Grab some popcorn to make your living room smell like butter with a hint of nostalgia.

Someone Great

A music journalist is offered her dream job, however it puts her in an odd position with her boyfriend of nearly a decade who would rather end the relationship versus attempting a long-distance relationship.

In an effor to mend her heart, she laces up for one last hoorah in New York with her friends before she takes off to the new gig.

This romantic comedy is a celebration of female friendship and the power of moving on.

Incredibles 2

What better time to watch a movie about a superhuman family sticking together through the curve balls thrown at them and knocking it out of the park. Amazing nods to mid-century espionage movies and charm. This crime fighting family is back with Pixar’s signature writing, wit, and “awww”.

Saving Mr. Banks

Tom Hanks as Walt Disney. ‘Nuff Said.

As Good As It Gets

Jack Nicholson plays a romance writer but over the course of his career he gains a reputation for being kind of a jerk. But, he develops a relationship with a dog and then with a server played by Helen Hunt.

That’s five! So put on your best looking sweats, make enough popcorn to fill the room with sweet buttery smell, and feel good!
